If you are like me and many of my friends in the facebook group, I Remember Nashville When, we reminisce about the fun days at Opryland, U.S. A., shopping downtown Nashville, etc. One place that hasn’t changed is the lovely and historic Hermitage Hotel. Built in 1910 in the Beaux Arts Tradition, the hotel looks the same as it did then. I try to do my part in adding to the historic and graceful ambience, by performing elegant-style piano solo versions of classical pieces, and light jazz and tunes from the American songbook. When you visit the Hermitage Hotel, let the valet park your car. Come into the lobby and have a beverage of your choice, and you may get your valet parking ticket comped. Most Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
